All About The HIVE in the Historic Vasa Hall
Welcome to The HIVE, Grays Harbor County's new collective workspace and meeting room located in the historic Vasa Hall! Featuring four (soon to be six) individual co-working spaces and one meeting room, the space has been transformed from a forgotten building to a one-of-a-kind environment that meets the unique needs of remote workers.
Purchased by Paraiso Property Professionals, LLC, the Vasa Hall, built in 1927, received a new lease on life when renovations were completed in 2022. The former VASA (Swedish American Fraternal Organization) was built in the 20's as a gathering hall and place to celebrate Nordic Heritage. After a series of owners and closures, the building nestled near the banks of the Hoquiam River shifted to become a Moose Lodge in 1979. Memories continue to flow in from community members who recall special memories in the space the has continually served the Hoquiam and Grays Harbor community for nearly 100 years.
As the Vasa Hall now serves its new purpose, The HIVE is excited to welcome in workers to utilize the space while appreciating the history in a whole new way.
